As much as I love the decor, the food is just passable generic American. Nothing really stood out. And it’s expensive for what it is. I’ll give it 4 stars to not be a hater
The most interesting brunch spot in Maryland. They serve breakfast and dinner type food all day.
The servers share tables, in that you do not have a particular waitress but all the staff with help and serve all the tables as they bop around.
Portions are huge and bursting with fun flavors.
My favorites are the french toast, burgers or the TV dinners.

This place never changes. More than 20 years of coming here. Some of the staff is the same. Food is still great.
Of course the zany artistry of PaperMoon Diner's decor and atmosphere are what it's all about. Every time we go, we see something new and wonderful on the wall or ceiling.
The staff are usually very friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed. Only on our most recent visit did we encounter a server grunting her way through a shift with a detachment intended to discourage questions about the menu.
The food, with one glaring exception, ranges from good to great. A favorite dish is the crispy potato cakes. We've tried the blueberry, avocado, and espresso milkshakes and liked them a lot except for the topping of this utterly disgusting stuff that the menu misleadingly calls "whipped cream". Maybe there's a dairy component, but the stuff remains stiff and formed with no melting after 50 minutes at the table. The mouth feel is of aerated vegetable oil with the super sweet taste of corn syrup. This stuff exceeds cool whip in terms of the vile plasticity of a substance that only the U.S. would allow as a food product.

our waiter was super cute and friendly. the food came out quick and it was so delicious. i got the pasta alfredo but it was bussin! the chicken was seasoned well and the spinach wasn’t over cooked. Papermoon is an excellent place to play I Spy.

I had a southern style omelet, and i really liked it. It had avocado, corn, and tomatoes like salsa. It was really good. Bread was also really good so is the salad.
The restaurant itself is filled with unique vintage items all over the place. Interesting.
I recommend this place if you want something casual place but with uniqueness.

Very neat place with great food and awesome service!! We had cheese steak and chicken Alfredo. Both were excellent. Breakfast is served all day. Very eclectic menu for all tastes.
Very unique place with great food. Shrimp and grits, meatloaf, turkey avocado sandwich, sausage gravy and eggs all great!!
The decor/vibe is so fun! I just got the Avocado Shake (very yummy, has little chunks of avo throughout). Can get busy so just be aware of that, it was 45min wait at 1pm on a Saturday. Food is a bit pricey
